The Rhondda Rollercoaster, having taken a sabbatical in 2014 because the South Wales LDWA group organised the Valleys 100, returned with considerable support in 2015. The event was a sell out 232 people having entered and consequently no entries on the day were accepted. Disappointingly, 51 people didn’t turn up, but the 181 who did started the event in damp conditions. The weather soon cleared up though and everyone was able to enjoy far reaching views across the scenic Rhondda area. The South Wales LDWA group would like to thank all entrants for the support given to the event and look forward to meeting you all again at our next challenge event, Where Ravens Dare on 3rd October 2015.
